Setting "Bestellers zonder gekoppelde vestiging(en)" (Orderers without linked branch(es))
Setting "Bestellers zonder gekoppelde vestiging(en)" (Orderers without linked branch(es))
To help you better understand what this setting does exactly, we've set out a few scenarios below. This setting determines whether orderers who aren't linked to a branch may order FROM any of the branches that have been added, or may not place an order at all if the orderer isn't linked to any branch.
PLEASE NOTE! So this is not about where an orderer wants their order delivered. The question the orderer sees in the checkout is "Vanaf welke vestiging bestel je?" (Which branch are you ordering from?) and serves as a record of which branch an orderer places the order from.
Scenario 1: The "Bestellers zonder gekoppelde vestiging(en)" setting is set to "Kunnen kiezen uit alle vestigingen vanuit welke de bestelling geplaatst wordt" (Can choose from all branches from which the order is placed). This means that if an orderer isn't linked to any branch, they get a choice of ALL branches added within the portal for the question "Vanaf welke vestiging bestel je?" in the checkout.
Scenario 2: The "Bestellers zonder gekoppelde vestiging(en)" setting is set to "Mogen geen bestellingen plaatsen" (May not place orders). This means that if an orderer isn't linked to any branch, they can't select a branch for "Vanaf welke vestiging bestel je?" in the checkout. This also means the orderer CANNOT place an order. If scenario 2 applies, every orderer must be linked to at least 1 branch to be able to place an order at all. You can read more about linking orderers to branches here: Linking users to branches
Setting "Bestellingen mogen buiten de EU verstuurd worden" (Orders may be shipped outside the EU)
Setting "Bestellingen mogen buiten de EU verstuurd worden" (Orders may be shipped outside the EU)
If this setting is "Aan" (On), the orderer may select added branches for delivery in the checkout whose delivery country is outside the EU. In addition, countries outside the EU can also be chosen when filling in an alternative delivery address. If the setting is off, only delivery addresses within the EU may be selected and entered.
Setting "Waar mag er bezorgd worden?" (Where may orders be delivered?)
Setting "Waar mag er bezorgd worden?" (Where may orders be delivered?)
With this setting, you determine whether an orderer may have the order delivered to:
-The branches added in advance
-An alternative delivery address, where the orderer can enter their own delivery address using free fields, with the extra choice of private or business.
If both options are on, the orderer may have the order delivered both to the branches added in advance and to a freely entered delivery address, to private addresses, business addresses, or either one.
Setting "Op welke vestigingen mag er bezorgd worden?" (Which branches may orders be delivered to?)
Setting "Op welke vestigingen mag er bezorgd worden?" (Which branches may orders be delivered to?)
With this setting, you determine whether an orderer may have the order delivered to:
- All branches added within the portal
- Only the branches linked to the orderer
If the setting is set to "Alle vestigingen" (All branches), the orderer sees a dropdown with a choice of all branches added in the portal when entering the delivery address in the checkout. If the setting is set to "Alleen de vestigingen die aan de besteller zijn gekoppeld" (Only the branches linked to the orderer), the orderer sees a dropdown with a choice of only the branches linked to that orderer when entering the delivery address in the checkout.
Setting "Welke adresgegevens mag de besteller invoeren tijdens de check-out?" (Which address details may the orderer enter during checkout?)
Setting "Welke adresgegevens mag de besteller invoeren tijdens de check-out?" (Which address details may the orderer enter during checkout?)
With this setting, you determine which additional address details the orderer may enter in the checkout:
- "Kamernummer" (Room number)
- "Verdieping" (Floor)
- "Gebouw" (Building)
You can activate or deactivate the fields by clicking the square box. This lets you select and deselect the item. You can then also determine the order of the items by dragging them. The fields will then be shown in the checkout in this order.
Setting "Welke informatie mag de besteller invoeren tijdens de check-out?" (Which information may the orderer enter during checkout?)
Setting "Welke informatie mag de besteller invoeren tijdens de check-out?" (Which information may the orderer enter during checkout?)
With this setting, you determine which additional information the orderer may enter in the checkout:
- "E-mailadres" (Email address)
- "Telefoonnummer" (Phone number)
- "Interne referentie" (Internal reference)
- "Gewenste leverdatum" (Requested delivery date)
- "Gewenste ophaaldatum" (Requested collection date)
You can activate or deactivate the fields by clicking the square box. This lets you select and deselect the item. You can then also determine the order of the items by dragging them. The fields will then be shown in the checkout in this order.
Setting "Besteller mag een budgetaanvraag doen in de winkelwagen" (Orderer may submit a budget request in the shopping cart)
Setting "Besteller mag een budgetaanvraag doen in de winkelwagen" (Orderer may submit a budget request in the shopping cart)
With this setting, you determine whether an orderer may submit a budget request if their budget is insufficient. If the budgeting workflow is on and an orderer submits a budget request because of insufficient budget, an approval request is sent to a higher-level branch manager.
If multiple managers are linked to the same branch, the orderer must select a manager in the shopping cart, who then receives the budget request and can approve or reject it. If no higher-level manager has been added in the system, the functional administrator receives the budget request for approval or rejection.
Setting "Besteller mag een factuuradres kiezen" (Orderer may choose a billing address)
Setting "Besteller mag een factuuradres kiezen" (Orderer may choose a billing address)
With this setting, you determine whether an orderer may select a billing address themselves in the checkout using a dropdown menu. This concerns billing addresses that have already been added in the environment in advance, not entering a billing address manually using free fields.
Setting "Welke factuuradressen mag de besteller kiezen?" (Which billing addresses may the orderer choose?)
Setting "Welke factuuradressen mag de besteller kiezen?" (Which billing addresses may the orderer choose?)
With this setting, you determine whether the orderer may choose all billing addresses, or only the billing addresses of branches linked to the user.
Setting "Besteller dient altijd een kostenplaats in te voeren" (Orderer must always enter a cost centre)
Setting "Besteller dient altijd een kostenplaats in te voeren" (Orderer must always enter a cost centre)
With this setting, you determine whether entering a cost centre is required during the ordering process. If you have the "budgettering" (budgeting) workflow switched on, entering a cost centre is automatically enforced. If you work with other workflows, entering a cost centre is optional, and with this setting you can determine whether a cost centre must be selected to be able to place the order.
Setting "Prijzen verbergen" (Hide prices)
Setting "Prijzen verbergen" (Hide prices)
With this setting, you determine whether you want to hide the prices in the shopping cart/checkout. Please note! A user with the role "Beheerder" (Administrator) and "Functioneel beheerder" (Functional administrator) will always be able to see the prices in the shopping cart.
