What does the invoicing per order workflow involve?
If invoicing is set to "Per bestelling" (Per order), an invoice is generated and sent for each order.
How does the invoicing per order workflow work?
We explain it below.
Invoicing method
As soon as you set invoicing to "Per bestelling" (Per order), you can then choose after how many days the invoice should be sent. If you set the number of days to "0", the invoice is generated and sent every night if an order was placed and approved on that same day.
Billing address
At "Factuuradres" (Billing address), you can set which name and address should appear on the invoice. You can choose to always put one fixed name and address on the invoice, or to show the name and address based on the branch to which the order is delivered.
Selecting the invoice addressee
There are 2 ways to set an addressee.
Fixed name and address
Fixed name and address
If you want to use 1 fixed name and address for all invoices, click "Wijzigen" (Edit) at "Factuuradres" (Billing address) and select the desired billing address. If the desired billing address isn't listed, you can create it by creating a new branch and filling in all the billing details there. You can then select this branch in the dropdown for choosing the fixed billing address.
You can then set this differently per stock group if desired.
Variable name and address
Variable name and address
If you want invoicing to be based on the branch from which the order was placed, don't select a specific branch at "Factuuradres" (Billing address) but leave it empty.
The system will now send the invoice based on the branch from which the order was placed. Please note! This is therefore not the branch to which the order may be delivered. The branch chosen in the checkout at "Vanaf welke vestiging bestel je" (Which branch are you ordering from) is the branch used for the invoice addressee. The recipient of the invoice is determined by the "Ontvanger van de factuur" (Invoice recipient) setting. If this is set to "Besteller" (Orderer), the orderer always receives the invoice. If it's set to "Factuuradres" (Billing address), the invoice is sent to the email address linked to the branch from which the order was placed.
