What are cost centres?

Cost centres are generally used to book expenses to, for example because a budget is assigned to a cost centre, or because it only needs to be filled in as a reference.

How do I create cost centres?

You can create cost centres and link them to 1 or more orderers as follows.

Step 4: Click "+ nieuw" (+ new) at the top to create a new cost centre

Step 5: Fill in all the details of the cost centre

"Kostenplaats" (Cost centre): This is the name of the cost centre. The orderer sees this name when making a choice in the checkout/cart.

"Grootboekrekening" (Ledger account): If you work with an external purchasing system such as SAP or Proactive, this field is used as a reference towards the purchasing system.

"Kostensoort" (Cost type): This field serves as a fallback for the cost centre and is also included in the export.

Step 6: At the bottom, link the cost centre to a user or select 'iedereen' (everyone)
