Using Twinfield
Using Twinfield
Once the integration is fully set up, all invoices created from that moment on are automatically forwarded to Twinfield. In the invoice overview via the "Facturen" (Invoices) block, you can see for each invoice whether it has been sent to Twinfield or not. If something went wrong, this is also shown here, including what went wrong, and you can try sending the invoice again.
Matching on debtor number
Matching on debtor number
The right debtor in Twinfield is matched based on the debtor number you've entered for your customer in the customer environment. This works as follows:
Option 1 - Debtor number per branch
In your customer's environment, you can enter a debtor number for each branch you've added. If a user orders from this branch and invoicing is set up so that the ordering branch is also used as the invoicing branch, the system will make the match in Twinfield based on the debtor number entered for this branch.
Option 2 - Debtor number per customer environment
In your customer's environment, you can also set 1 fixed debtor number. For every invoice that is sent, the system will look at the debtor number you've entered in the customer environment under "Instellingen" (Settings) --> "Bedrijfsgegevens" (Company details) --> "Debiteurnummer" (Debtor number).
Please note!
The system always checks first whether a debtor number has been entered at branch level. If the system can't find a debtor number for the branches, it will check whether a general debtor number has been entered in the customer environment under "Instellingen" (Settings) --> "Bedrijfsgegevens" (Company details) --> "Debiteurnummer" (Debtor number).
Was the system unable to match a debtor in Twinfield? Then you'll also see an error message in the invoice overview in your Premium ID environment, stating that no debtor number could be found in Twinfield.
